Reverend Albert L. Manson, Jr.

Reverend Albert L. Manson, Jr. is a humble servant.  He is honored to serve as Pastor of Solomon Temple Missionary Baptist Church.

Reverend Manson, Jr. accepted his call to the ministry, April 28, 2002, while serving under the spiritual leadership of Reverend Albert L. Manson, Sr.  Being led of the Holy Spirit, Rev. Manson, Jr. preached his first sermon on June 9, 2002.  In May 2004, Rev. Manson, Jr. received a Bachelor of Science degree in Christian Theological Seminary from St. Louis Christian College, in St. Louis, Missouri.  He was ordained into Christian ministry, October 29, 2006.

Called to preach the liberating gospel that sets the captive free, Rev. Manson, Jr. has a special anointing that empowers others to reach their divine purpose.  He served as President of the Christian of Education for four years, 2012-2016, under the Progressive District Association.  Rev. Manson, Jr. also has a heart for helping youth to recognize their potential to excel.  Out of this shared passion, he founded, manages, and coach an elite selected baseball team (St. Louis Browns) in urban St. Louis City, which affords the opportunity for this select group of youth to travel competing regionally.

Rev. Manson, Jr. is a native of St. Louis, Missouri and a graduated of Chattahoochee State College in Phenix City, Alabama where he earned a degree in Business Administration.  He has over 20 years of successful youth behavior mentoring, as well as, account management.

Rev. Manson, Jr. has a 12-year-old daughter, Albi R. Manson.

Rev. Manson, Jr. is committed to honoring the traditions of the historic church, its practices and its presence in the community; while serving our community in a contemporary context and foster intergenerational involvement.  His charismatic style of preaching and humorous personality filters overs into his sermons as he often uses practical anecdotes to capture the attention of the congregation; “as it is in the natural, so it is in the spirit.”  Rev. Manson, Jr., Motto – “For I been abound and abased but whatever state I yet find myself in I’m therewith to be content.”

His philosophy is that one should find his or her purpose in life, and understand that this purpose should fit into God’s purpose and destiny of one’s life.
